August 5th Latin Around the World The In the House Performance Series debuts with the hot-blooded sights and sounds of Latin culture. The evening started off with some passionate flamenco and then everyone got ready to dance to the vibrant sounds of Brazilian music!

 September 5th First Nations Showcase As they soaked in the final rays of summer surrounded by a flower-filled yard, people listened to traditional First Nations’ song, drumming, and storytelling, immersing themselves in cultures that have lived on for countless generations. Everyone joined in the dancing at the end! The nations represented included Nisga’a, Coast Salish, and the Chehalis people.

 October 5th Fireside Stories Delectable stories were told around a cozy fireplace. The audience wrapped themselves in the flames of imagination, and let the tellers’ magic take them away. The evening finished off with a dazzling fire show.

 Eastern Enchantments This was a special evening. Not only people were treated to some incredible performances, but their taste buds were also be tantalized with the savory morsels of India cooked by chef Kali Saltibus. This was a full meal and performance show – an experience people will never forget!

The Raw Jazz Experience It’s a Monday night – no one goes out on a Monday night! Aaah, but for the sounds of some funky live jazz pulsating through a living room, why not chase away those back to work blues, and live it up just one more night! Cocktails and delicious appetizers prepared by Heidi Birk were served at 6:15 pm.
